Zephaniah 1

Theological Analysis

What we learn about God

God is holy and just, and He will not tolerate sin. He is patient, but His judgment is inevitable (Yahweh-Zephaniah 1:2-3).

Christological Connection

Although this passage does not directly mention Jesus, the Day of the Lord foreshadows the final judgment that Jesus will execute.
