Theological Analysis

What we learn about God

God is the author of Scripture. The text explicitly states that all Scripture is "God-breathed" (theopneustos), demonstrating His active communication and desire to equip His people.

Christological Connection

Salvation is found exclusively through "faith which is in Christ Jesus." Living a godly life in alignment with Christ guarantees the believer will face friction and hostility from a fallen world.

Systematic Theology

Bibliology (The Inspiration, Inerrancy, and Sufficiency of Scripture) and Eschatology (The moral condition of society in the period between Christ's first and second coming).

Law & Grace

False teachers possess a "form" of religion (external law/legalism) but lack the actual "power" (internal grace). True godliness is produced by the Grace of God through the Word of God, not empty rituals.

Personal Application

We should expect cultural hostility and personal persecution, not be surprised by it. In response to cultural decay, our primary defense and weapon is deep, unwavering devotion to studying and applying the Bible.
